Mr Bhat successfully removed a splinter from my thumb which had been there for two months. I sent him a video clip of the problem and after a telephone consultation and he arranged for it to be removed. He advised me what the procedure would involve so that I was not at all anxious when the day arrived to go into the theatre. I was due to see Mr Bhat at the Spire Gatwick Park Hospital but due to coronavirus he was able to perform the small operation at the East Surrey Hospital, where the staff were very accommodating. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Bhat as he is very professional, understanding, assesses the situation and clearly explains everything.

Excellent physician; I was absolutely delighted with my surgical treatment and with the physical outcome. I would have no hesitation in seeking his advice and guidance for any further problems I might encounter within his medical compass.

Having had a bad experience at another hospital with another doctor it was wonderful to finally be in the hands of such a nice Doctor. He is very caring and a very good listener. I have no problem at all in recommending Mr Bhat.

I have been treated by Mr Bhat for carpal tunnel release on both hands as well as a recent persistent trigger finger problem. Mr Bhat has been most helpful and highly effective with the carpal tunnel release surgery. My carpal tunnel condition has been resolved, improving the feeling in my fingers and eliminating the related nerve pain. The trigger finger treatment is currently in process, having recently had multiple steroid injections to the affected sites. I am confident that Mr Bhat will resolve these as well. Mr Bhat has a very good rapport with his patients. He listens intently to understand the situation and then offers great advice with treatment options, likely outcomes and a risk assessment. I have no hesitation recommending him within his medical specialism.

I was a little apprehensive about the carpal tunnel procedure that Mr Bhat was going to carry out on my right hand, especially as I live alone and would have no-one to help me, but he explained exactly what he was going to do, what I would have to do to improve my fingers' mobility and the actual procedure was quick and painless. It was a little unfortunate that the weather turned extremely hot the day after it had been done and the thick rigid fleece elbow sling proved to be a nightmare. I would have preferred something that was not so hot to wear, especially at night but I stuck it out! Mr Bhat is charming and was very encouraging when I went back to see him the first time, and he expressed delight with the success of the procedure when I went for my follow-up after two months.
